Jess opened Peak in 2009 aiming to provide the local community with a comprehensive health service where the focus remains on the client and serving their needs. Jess has a passion for returning clients to full health combined with extensive experience in injury and postural rehabilitation enabling her to provide the best treatment program for each individual depending on their needs. Jess regularly holds public educational seminars on common areas of injury aiming to prevent problems before they occur. In her spare time she is a self confessed fitness and health nut – an avid CrossFitter and running geek (just ask her a running question and see how excited she gets). Jess has completed her CrossFit Level 1 trainer certification, and provided on site support to athletes at the 2012 & 2013 CrossFit Games Australian Regional, and in her ‘spare time’ is completing a Masters in Human Nutrition, and audits courses for accreditation with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Jess is available on Wednesdays & Fridays at Surry Hills and on Mondays & Wednesdays for Telehealth.
Jeremy graduated from University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialisation in Kinesiology and minor in rehabilitation sciences. He then went on to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy at University of Sydney.
Jeremy has worked at retirement homes and other private healthcare facilities. He has also has experience volunteering with children with special needs throughout his Bachelors degree. He has plenty of exposure to sports and common injuries associated with them from his experience as a sports trainer during his time at the University of Sydney.
Jeremy is interested in a number of different sports including ice hockey, surfing, golfing, cycling, and baseball. You can often find Jeremy at Maroubra beach when there is a good swell.
Jeremy is available Monday and Wednesday afternoons, as well as Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings at our Surry Hills clinic.
Jai did his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He then completed his Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney.
Jai has a passion for helping others to get back to full health based on their rehabilitation needs. He has experience working as an exercise physiologist in Canada, along with ample experience working as a medical trainer for various sports teams such as lacrosse, rugby and AFL.
Jai’s numerous interests include: Petting as many dogs as possible when going on walks, cheering for his ice hockey team (Go Canucks Go!), and spending too long trying to figure out what to make for dinner. He loves playing soccer, doing kickboxing and working out.
You can find Jai at the Surry Hills clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday afternoons and Saturdays mornings.
Katie completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the NSW School of Massage with over 280 hours in clinical massage practice. She has since gained professional experience at the International Wellness Resort, Medical Spa and Chiropractic clinic. She has a full comprehension of advanced massage techniques for relieving muscle problems effectively and recently received a qualification in care for Pregnancy, Deep Tissue, Rehabilitation and Lymphatic Drainage massage. Katie says, “My first client is my mother; she inspires me to treat everyone as family.”
Katie is available on Wednesdays 9:30am-1pm.
Rodolfo completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at Randwick Tafe in July 2018. This course furthered his knowledge of human anatomy and its physiology, sparking an interest in the human structure and the way it functions. Through his experience at the Intuition Massage Clinic and observations gained from a keen study of the human body, Rodolfo is able to tailor his treatments and techniques for each client. He soon plans to pursue a Bachelor degree in Health Science, majoring in human structure and function. In his spare time, Rodolfo enjoys travelling, reading, exercising and meditation.
Rodolfo is available on Wednesday & Thursday afternoons.
After working as a Fitness trainer for over 10 years Robert’s natural progression was to complete his Diploma of Remedial Massage. Rob is a skilled practitioner providing a firm and effective massage, with a particular interest in Trigger Point therapy. He is passionate about the results and benefits of massage, tailoring your massage to your requirements.
Rob is available on Saturdays from 9am-2:00pm & Sundays from 10am-1:00pm.
Imogen has over 7 years experience in massage therapy and delivers a good strong handed massage. She specialises in releasing neck and shoulder tension but loves tackling whatever problematic body parts you can throw her way. She is also a qualified dry needler and uses this as part of her massage sessions when indicated. Imogen is currently completing her Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science and plans to continue on to do her Masters of Physiotherapy. Outside the treatment room, Imogen enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, arts and crafts.
Imogen is available on Wednesday afternoons at Waterloo & Saturday afternoons at Surry Hills.
Nonthaya is available on Tuesdays & Fridays between 10am – 6pm
As well as being a skilled manual therapist, Mohamad is also an accredited exercise physiologist, and brings his knowledge of anatomy and bio-mechanics to his treatments to provide not only a top notch massage, but a comprehensive service.
Mohamad is available on Saturdays between 1pm – 4pm.
Grace is the friendly voice on the phone, and is more than happy to assist you with any enquiries you might have regarding our services. She is currently completing a Fine Arts Bachelor Degree at The National Art School. Grace also has an interest in design and architecture. When not at the front desk of our Surry Hills clinic you can find Grace at the beach.
Ch’aska is the face you’ll find at Reception on Fridays and Saturdays. She is always ready to have a chat and help with any enquiries you may have about our physio and massage services. Currently, Ch’aska is completing a degree in Creative Writing at UTS. When she is not at Peak Health or uni, you can find her bouldering or reading a good book.
Vivi is one of the friendly faces you will see and speak to at reception. She is helpful when trying to find the right practitioner to suit your needs, and happy to try and answer any questions you may have. When Vivi isn’t running around the two clinics she is out stringing up her bow and shooting an arrow on the archery field, hiking or pursuing her interest in design.
Narelle is our resident Pilates instructor. She was trained under the Australian Pilates Association and holds a Bachelor Exercise and Health Science making her the perfect woman for the job! Passionate about all things related to health and wellbeing, Narelle will guide you through exercises designed to be low impact and high result, aiding in flexibility, fitness and strength.
